For this Law Clerk position, YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A LAW SCHOOL and have at least completed your 1L year.

This is an IN-PERSON position in our Coral Gables Office. This is NOT a work from home position.

At our Trusts & Estates Law Firm, we are passionate about helping clients preserve and protect their legacy, and we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Law Clerks who share in our mission and values to join our growing team.

These mentors offer instruction and feedback on assignments as well as encourage each summer law clerk to explore different aspects of estate planning and estate administration law. A wide range of assignments provide exposure to the different practice areas, i.e. clerks may be invited to interact with clients as part of the estate planning process or draft the petition to later attend the accompanying probate hearing.

Our goal is to further each Summer Law Clerk’s legal career by delivering a valuable learning experience to supplement their legal education

Compensation: $40,000 – $65,000 yearly

Responsibilities

-Draft legal documents, including memos, briefs, and pleadings under attorney supervision to meet court deadlines and client needs.

-Must know how to conduct research on WESTLAW or LEXIS NEXUS.

-Assist in case management by organizing and maintaining legal files, tracking important deadlines, and scheduling appointments and court appearances.

-Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to gather information, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case progress.

-Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base by updating legal resources, attending legal education seminars, and staying current on changes in laws and regulations.
