This is a full-time, in-office position. Office is in Coral Gables, FL.

Look no further! At our Trusts & Estates Law Firm, we are passionate about helping clients preserve and protect their legacy and we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Estate Planning Paralegal who shares our mission and values to join our growing team.

This is NOT your usual paralegal position where you are bogged down all day drafting documents. This position is a hybrid of paralegal and client services and is extremely client-facing. If you enjoy talking to clients and their other advisors more than you enjoy drafting legal documents, this is the job for you!

This team member creates a relationship with the client that starts when they engage the firm and becomes the client’s main point of contact until the conclusion of representation.

This is a long-term position with room for growth as we always look to promote from within first.

Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 yearly

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


Qualifications

-At least 5 years of experience in estate planning paralegal work

-Demonstrated competence in working with multiple databases (e.g. Clio, Monday.com, Wealth Counsel), as well as various portals and programs

-High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe applications

-An aptitude for effective verbal and written communication

-A driven work ethic and the capacity to exercise sound judgment

-A responsible attitude and an appropriate demeanor

Responsibilities

-Attend and host the initial in-take meetings with clients

-Exceptional Communication Skills as you will be talking with clients all day

-Act as liaison between attorney and client

-Lead the Signing Ceremony meeting and be able to explain a client’s estate plan to them

-Run the Funding Meeting – Assist clients in titling and naming of assets

-Manage various databases and software programs like CLIO

-Uphold a strong work ethic, good judgment, professional appearance, and a positive demeanor
