Trust Counsel, PLLC, is a rapidly growing law firm located in Coral Gables, FL. Our firm has three major practice areas – Estate Planning, Probate and Business Planning. We have a friendly office and a team-based approach to serving our clients. We utilize technology and have established policies and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal results for our clients. Our new Legal Assistant will appreciate our existing structures and be able to bring their skills to refine our systems and procedures.

We also need someone who understands how to communicate directly with clients and provide outstanding customer service. We want to be known for helping our clients come out of an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, frighteningly organized, pleasant to work with, and most importantly has a positive attitude.  We want to get our work done as efficiently as possible while ensuring we produce a great work product, so our clients have a fantastic experience working with us.

Duties include but are not limited to:

– Order public records including birth, death, and marriage certificates

– Prepare and maintain a calendar system

– Process and coordinate all incoming and outgoing mail (certified and other)

– Prepare client folders with appropriate documents needed prior to attorney or paralegal meetings

– Maintain the office condition including a stocked inventory supply closet

– Maintain an organized physical and electronic filing system for important client documents such as wills and corporate black books

– Assemble executed documents into professionally organized binders with electronic copies for the client to take home

– Follow proper procedure for opening and closing of physical and electronic files

– Correspond with clients to obtain pertinent information via phone, email, or in-person

– Generally assist team members with legal research, drafting documents, client communications, e-filing documents, and ensuring a smooth office workflow

Other skills required:

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

– Willingness to learn database systems (Infusionsoft, Clio, com, Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe)

– English/Spanish fluency preferred but not required

 

Compensation:

$13-16 hourly
